Red Sneaker Day Spotlight: Michaelle & Harper Melnuk

Red Sneaker Days provides a “day” when everyone wears their red sneakers/shoes (or anything red) and participates together to raise awareness for the dangers of food allergies. The goal is not only to increase education and awareness to the communities of those suffering with food allergies, but just as importantly, to educate those who are not directly affected by them.

Michaelle and her daughter, Harper, spread food allergy awareness by signing up to be a vendor at their town’s Self-Care Fair. The Fair provided a wide variety of vendors and demonstrations for the self-care seekers to find wellness, fun, and health. Harper shared Oakley’s story and other ways she is helping spread food allergy awareness in her community! They even made some local food-allergy friends! Michaelle and Harper were able to accept donations for RSFO and provide some RSFO giveaways!
