Palm Beach Society: Un-Gala dress code calls for red sneakers, face masks

In a normal season, the supporters of Red Sneakers for Oakley would be raising funds at a gala dinner dance.

But this is no normal season. More like an Un-Season. So the organizers of the RSFO opted for an "Un-Gala."

The event took place Nov. 19 and began at Buccan, where guests picked up fine wine and a prepared-to-order meal by James Beard Award semifinalist Chef Clay Conley, and continued at the best venue of all — home.

Safe, peaceful home, with no windy speeches, no auctions, your own parking place and no switching of place cards because whomever sits next to you will be somebody you love.
